Ingredients
- 2 cups broccoli florets (fresh, or frozen and thawed)
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1 tbsp honey
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 tbsp sliced or slivered almonds
- Zest of 1/2 lemon (optional for brightness)
- Fresh parsley, chopped, for garnish

Preheat Oven

Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Prepare Broccoli

In a large mixing bowl, toss the broccoli florets with olive oil, minced garlic, salt, and black pepper until well-coated.

Roast Broccoli

Spread the broccoli evenly on the baking sheet. Roast in the preheated oven for 15 minutes.

Add Honey, Parmesan, and Almonds

After 15 minutes, remove the broccoli from the oven. Drizzle the honey over the broccoli, sprinkle on the Parmesan cheese, and scatter the almonds over the top. Toss gently to coat, then return to the oven for an additional 5-8 minutes, until the broccoli is golden and crisp and the almonds are lightly toasted.

Once done, remove the broccoli from the oven and add a sprinkle of lemon zest for extra brightness. Transfer to a serving dish and garnish with fresh parsley.
