Ingredients
- 2 cups Brussels sprouts, trimmed and halved
- 2 tbsp unsalted butter
- 4-5 fresh sage leaves
- 2 slices prosciutto, torn into pieces (optional)
- 1 tsp maple syrup
- Salt and pepper, to taste

Preheat Oven

Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Make Brown Butter with Sage

In a small bowl, add the sage leaves, butter and melt the butter in a microwave. Drizzle the melted butter and sage over the Brussels sprouts in a bowl.

Add Maple and Season

Add the maple syrup, a pinch of salt, and pepper to the Brussels sprouts. Toss to coat well.

Roast the Brussels Sprouts

Spread the Brussels sprouts on the prepared baking sheet in an even layer cut side down. Scatter the torn prosciutto pieces on top. Roast for 15-20 minutes, until the Brussels sprouts are crispy on the outside and tender inside, and the prosciutto and sage are crispy.

Serve warm, optionally garnished with extra crispy sage leaves or a squeeze of lemon for brightness.
